Dodger

This is the third game I made. You are the blue square and you have to dodge the bullets for as long as you can. You have 3 lives and every time you are hit you lose a life.

  1. Definitely a 5/5. This game is fun and super challenging. I played this game multiple times trying to get better time. If this were my game I would change nothing about it. It kind of reminds me of a lot of games. The game functions well and as no bugs that I could see or notice.

  2. 1 = Low and 5 = High
    Enjoyment = 4
    Difficulty = 3
    I would not play the game more than 3 times because of the lack of goals.
    I would add certain objectives that reward the player for reaching certain times.
    I was not reminded of other games while playing.
    I did not notice any bugs.

    4)Nothing I loved the concept
    5)It reminds me of one of those classic browser games you’d play in elementary school.
    6)The game ran very well and the object collision was pretty well done.

    4. If you were to change the game, what changes would you make?
    No I like the game how it is
    5. Does the game remind you of any other games, either in style or in gameplay?
    Many but forget names
    6. How well did the game function? How smoothly did the game run and how well did the objects interact with other objects?
    It runs very pleasantly

  6. Difficulty – 4 Relatively challenging
    Overall rating – 4.8
    It is a challenge to dodge the bullets in the later stages of the game. Around 30 seconds is when it begins to pick up. I personally played the game a few times. The one thing I would do is shave down the hitboxes on the bullets a bit if possible.

  7. Feedback:
    – Animation was very smooth, and the collision detection looked accurate, too. Good job on that.
    – Definitely good replay value in this style of game, plus lots of ways to add difficulty. For example, there could be rewards you can grab, but at the increased risk of getting hit. Stuff like that. Lots of ways to expand the game!
