Sombrero Clicker Game

This is a small game I put together for lesson 3 of Code.org App Design. The goal of the game is to click the sombrero without clicking the background. The Hard difficulty features a number of fake hats, which also result in a game over, similarly to clicking the background. A link to the game can be found below.

  1. On a scale of 1-5 for how enjoyable the game was, I would say 3 but +1 for sombrero. The games difficulty on the same scale would be a 5, I literally gotta be lucky. I would definitely play the game more than once to see if I could click the sombrero again. If I were to change the game, I would change the layout to be more organized and structured. The game functions great, there were no problems with the sombrero clicking.

  2. 1. How enjoyable was the gaming experience, on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
    Score: _____1____
    2. On the same scale, how difficult did you find the game?
    Score: _____5____
    3. Would YOU play through the game more than once? More than five times? Why/why not?
I would play the game more then once to see if I could beat it more efficiently, but is very difficult to beat in the first place so I may replay to see if I even could beat it.
    4. If you were to change the game, what changes would you make?
I would make it so the hats didn’t instantly move when your mouse is over them giving you time to click them.
    5. Does the game remind you of any other games, either in style or in gameplay?
I don’t know of any other game that has this feature implemented in it.
    6. How well did the game function? How smoothly did the game run and how well did the objects interact with other objects?
The game ran smoothly with a slight delay of the images moving when hovered over quickly.
